Darrell Buell (Captain)
Hails from Oregon, where he lives with his wife Kathy and 2 boys. He started shooting as a boy, continued through seven years serving on submarines, and really took off in 2003 when he started to get into competitive long range shooting. Currently spends his time (when not traveling and shooting competitively) as a firearms instructor and law enforcement trainer/safety officer. The past few years, the shooting tour has taken him to many matches in a number of different countries (Scotland, Ireland, England, and Canada). At last year’s F-Class World Championships, he led the Gold Medal winning US Team. In 2007, he was the US National Fullbore Champion for F-T/R and placed third in the F-Class Nationals. Additionally, he won 3 gold medals and 4 bronze medals in matches in Scotland and Ireland, and won the Pacific Northwest International F-Class Championships.
Mike Miller (Vice Captain)
Official Name Donald Michael Miller but friends all call him Mike. Born and raised in California, he currently lives in Oakland California. Mike started shooting around six years old. It became a passion when he went into Police Work in 1979. He recently retired after 25 years in LE. During his time in LE he worked in SWAT and Tactical Capacities. This is where he became highly skilled at long range shooting. He has worked with various private contractor, LE, and military agencies in teaching and operator roles. His recent shooting awards include a fourth place in this year’s US Fullbore National Championships in F-T/R Class, 4th place in the 2007 F-Class National Championships in F-T/R. Other awards are gold and bronze medals in the California Police Olympics in High Power Rifle, first place in the 600 yard event at the US F-T/R (2007) National Championships, and he was the F-T/R class winner in the 2007 Canadian/American Matches in Sacramento, California.

Steve Cunico (Coach)
Steve began shooting small bore prone in 1989 and got into high power long range in 1997. He has won several small bore prone regional and state championships. He has won the Texas State high power long range championship and has won the Colorado high power long range championship twice. Steve coached the Veteran’s Team in 2011 and was a member of the 2011 Palma team.
Kathy Buell (Adjutant)
Kathy has been involved in shooting sports behind the scenes for some time. She started out small, learning how to help with scorekeeping. From there it escalated to running the stats office at some regional matches as well as helping with the overall match organization and related social activities. Most recently, she managed all of the logistics for the US F-T/R team during their most recent trip to England for the World Championships.
When not helping out on the range, Kathy works as a Senior Consultant for Providence Health and Services in Portland , OR . She enjoys traveling, reading, cooking and hanging out with her boys, Kyle and Liam.
Dale Carpenter
Dale is an electrician from Richland, IN. He has always been a hunter and shooter, but didn’t start shooting in competition until 2002 when he shot his first f-class match at a local range. In 2004 he started shooting NRA prone, long range matches and gained a master classification. He won the 2005 F/TR Nationals, 2007 Indiana State FTR division, 2005 and 2007 Tennessee State FTR division, 2007 Tennessee State Regional FTR division, and 2007 Georgia Peach State FTR Division. He shoots a Barnard action with a Bartlein Barrel in a Masterclass stock which was assembled by Warner Tool Company.
Monte Milanuk
Originally a native of Oshkosh, Nebraska, Monte grew up hunting various small game and predators on the family ranch. Following a stint in the Navy, he worked in the industrial and electrical utility sector, ultimately ending up in Wenatchee, Washington as a senior operator at Rock Island Dam with his wife Kathleen and children (one girl and two boys, one currently serving in the Marines). Monte became involved in NRA High Power in 2002, and continues to shoot conventional High Power Across-the-Course and Prone in addition to F-Class. In his first year (2007) of competing on the ‘larger’ scene, Monte took 1st F/TR in the BCRA Int’l Rifle Championship, 3rd F/TR in the Spirit of America Fullbore Championship, and 2nd F/TR in the U.S. F-Class Nationals. When not either shooting or promoting F-Class, he also enjoys shooting practical/tactical rifle matches, and making various attempts at woodworking. Monte is currently a member of Team Savage and shoots a 12 F/TR rifle.
Paul Phillips
Paul lives in Michigan and works for a federal law enforcement agency within the Department of Homeland Security. Paul began his shooting career in the United States Marine Corps in 1986. During his tenure in the Marine Corps from 1986 to 1992, he learned the fundamentals of long range shooting as a member of a scout-sniper platoon. Paul earned his High Master classification in 2004. At the High Power Long Range National Championships at Camp Perry, Ohio, Paul was in the Leech Cup shoot off in 1997 and also placed in the top 25 in the Canadian Cup Trophy Match in multiple years. Paul competed in the F-Class Target Rifle division of the U.S. F-Class National Championships in 2004, 2005 and 2007. Paul placed 3rd in 2004 and in 2005 and finished 6th in 2007. Paul is currently a coach/shooter of the 4 man US Team National Record holders of 600 and 1000 yards, and holds twelve individual National Records. Paul was a firing member of the 2009 United States World Champion F-T/R Team. Paul shoots a Barnard action with a Master Class stock.
Brad Sauve
From Midland, Michigan, Brad is married to Lynn, has four children and one grandchild. Brad works for Dow Corning Corporation in the treasury department. He began his competitive F-Class shooting career in 2002 attending the first F-Class World Championship in Canada. Brad was the first U.S. F-Class Target Rifle National Champion in 2004 (Butner) and he was also the National Champion in F-T/R in 2006 (Sacramento) and 2007 (Raton). At the other U.S. F-Class National Championships he attended, he finished 4th on two occasions, 8th, and 18th. Brad has been a member of the winning F-T/R U.S. National team which has won every team event at each U.S. National Championship held from 2004 to 2011, except for the 2010 U.S. F-Class National Championship which he did not attend.. He personally has set many individual U.S. National Records in F-T/R events and his teams have also set several U.S. National Records. Brad shoots F-T/R for Sinclair International as a member of Team Sinclair. When not shooting, he enjoys riding motorcycles and playing guitar.
John H. Weil
Living in Welches Oregon with his wife Joann, John is retired from Plumbers Local 290 in Portland Oregon. He spends most of his time at the local gun club where he is the Treasurer. He started shooting HP competitively in 1990 and had to stop due to a bad elbow. He got involved in Long Range F-Class shooting in 2006 as a member of Team Savage. His lauds for 2006 include the British Columbia International F–Class Rifle Championship 2nd place team match, 2006 United States F-Class National Championships 2nd Place Team Match. For 2007, the 16th annual American-Canadian Long Range 1st Place Team Match, 2nd Place FT/R (individual), 2007 British Columbia International F–Class Rifle Championship; 1st Place Team Match. Also the 2007 Pacific Northwest International F-Class Championship; 1st Place Super Aggregate – British Columbia International F–Class Rifle Championship & Pacific Northwest International F Class Championship combined.
Jeff Rorer
Jeff Rorer was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina. He attended East Carolina University and received a BS in Chemistry in 1996 and an MS in Chemistry in 1998. He later received a graduate certificate in Security Studies in 2004 from ECU. He has three publications in the fields of organic chemistry and national security. He has been married to his wife, Tina, since 1997 and has one daughter, Emily. Jeff currently is a chemistry instructor at Pitt Community College.
Jeff has been shooting pistols and rifles recreationally since about 1994. He started shooting competitively in F-T/R class in August 2005 at North State Shooting Club in Butner, NC. Jeff attended his first National Championship in 2007 in Raton, NM and posted a respectable score. In 2008, he finished fifth overall at the National Championship in Lodi, WI and second at the 2009 National Championship in Butner, NC. As part of Team Sinclair, he won both team matches in 2009. In England at the World Championships, Jeff finished 4th overall in the individual competition. Along the way, Jeff has set five individual and two team national records and was pictured in the October 2007 edition of Guns and Ammo magazine.
Warren Dean
From Thatcher, Arizona, Warren is married to the love of his life, Gwen. Their children are grown. Warren is a field instrumentation technician for Freeport McMoran Copper and Gold Mining Co. in Safford, Arizona. His other interests include amateur radio (38years worth), golf and fly fishing.
At his first F-Class Nationals in 2007, Warren earned 2 Team Match gold medals as a member of the winning Team Sinclair and finished 11th in individual competition. He also earned a silver medal for an individual match in the Spirit of America Fullbore Championships and set 2 F-T/R Fullbore benchmarks at 500 and 600 yards by shooting “cleans”. He also set the NRA F-T/R Palma Match national record at the Arizona State Palma Championship in 2007.
In 2008, he finished 7th at the F-Class Nationals and was a member of the winning US team in the Europe/US Team Challenge. He earned a 2nd place at the Arizona State Long Range Championships and won the Rocky Mountain Palma Matches at Raton, NM 2009 was dedicated to fine tuning his gear and form in preparation for the F-Class world Championships at Bisley, England in July. He is the current Arizona State Long Range Champion in F-T/R.
He currently holds NRA F-T/R Long Range Master and Service Rifle Expert classifications. Warren’s rifle is a Savage Precision Target Action with a Kreiger barrel, set in a Masterclass High Power Prone stock and topped off with a Nightforce BR model scope. He also runs the Sinclair Generation II bipod, having been heavily involved in the development of it with Sincair International’s R&D division.

Lane Buxton
Lane lives in Orangevale, CA with his supportive wife Donna, and works as a general contractor in the greater Sacramento area. After a number of years shooting local across-the-course matches with an AR-15 match rifle, Lane discovered long-range shooting in 2005. Shooting in the 2007 Palma and the Long-Range World Championships were the first major competitions attended. Lane also fired in the 2008 America’s Match in Raton, New Mexico for the U.S. Team. The 2011 Palma and Long-Range World Championships were his second trip south of the equator. The first was to South Africa for the 80th SABU matches in 2009, where the U.S. fielded a successful team. He also began dabbling in Service Rifle and F-Class competitions in 2010, and is looking forward to the F-Class World Championships in 2013. When not out on the shooting range, he is frequently hunting waterfowl or occasionally big game. According to his wife, Lane also spends far too much time fishing.
